My Story

ra Louise Curley-Williams was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 13, 1952, to the late Roosevelt Curley, Sr. and Willie Grace Curley. She was the third of ten children. Ora was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Williams, siblings Roosevelt, Jr., Randolph, Patricia Jean Pemberton, Larcenia, Patricia Ann and Robert.

On February 05, 2022 Ora was called to eternal rest by her Heavenly father and leaves to cherish her memories her children Lathan (Renee) Curley of Georgia, Laderian and Laneika Curley, LaShondra Anderson and LaRenzo (Anna) Williams all of Southern, California. Grandchildren Lathan, Shakia, Ulexus, Juan-Ye, Angel, Laderiana, Kaderian, Lathania, and Gracelyn. Granddaughter, Edynn Alexandria Anderson preceded her in death. She also leaves siblings Larry, John and Mollie Curley, all of Michigan. Her favorite nephew Rico also preceded her in death. In addition, Ora leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and church family. 

 

Ora accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized while attending Peace Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. Ora later, rededicated her life to the Lord and was baptized in the name of Jesus at Omni Ministries, under the leadership of Sr. Pastor, Dr. Doretha L. Cooper and was named as one of the mothers of the church.
